Writing Theatre for Social Justice is my passion and vocation. Spending a year or two conducting ethnographic research, working within and for a community, creating theatre with them and for them that gives testimony to communal needs is incredibly exciting. While it's not easy work, it's exhilarating. The writing has revealed to me the importance of building Applied Theatre to bring about equality, peace, and understanding that makes a better society and culture.
